What you have there looks correct. Check to see that you have not modified the PHP code. If you call the following URL directly, you will see it will divert to the right location:
http://jointops.org/lobby/novalobby.php?lobby=na So all I can imagine is the URL path you have is not correct, or is not the right version. Check to see that the php is actually being called correctly with the right arguments. Cheers Blackbeast |

Ah yes, I remember now. Just remember, doing certain things voids warranty and will not make you friends at Nova!
But glad to see you managed to get things working - well done. cheers BB |

I've been in contact before with nova. And I've had response 80% of the time.
If they don't respond I'll go ahead with my project. But at this point I'm a man alone on it. And I'm proud on what I've done .For coding I won't need annyone to be honnoust (security reasons). Graphics is going to be something differend... But hey we'll see. Oh btw blackbeast, don't know if you remember, but we've mailed a couple of months back about how to send messages and stuff to a jo server. Well like you see I cracked the code . |

Excellent work! You look like you have done a very good job - you should be proud.
I would not bother asking Nova for their blessing. Two possible outcomes: 1. They do not respond (99% of the time) 2. They disapprove of what you are doing ![]() Not the easiest company to deal with... Good luck |

There is annother way.
I managed to create a dynamic online status image. Its still in a testing fase. And I've contacted nova to check if I'm allowed to put this towards the public. It will still need some building tho. And annother downside is. I need to use login and pass to get this info :s. But I'm still researching on that part. Annyway, here is a small test for my own JO server ![]() This image is loaded dynamicly. And will change when the server goes offline. |

Yes, we only update every 5 mins or so.
If you attempt to update quicker, Nova will firewall you out - trust me - we've been there. You could attempt to get the data from Nova directly if you like, but it takes a lot of work - hence this site. Cheers Blackbeast |

so I wrote a little script that works quite well....now I get the server status and which map is playing and whos playing etc.
I just noticed that the refresh time for your XML is like every 5 minutes. Sorta slow...is there someway we can get the source that queries Novaworld so we can query ourselves and not use your XML? That way we could query like every 10 secs or so. |

Hi Nice work... I was wondering if there is some way to use this script as a serverstatus block on our website. Just the detailed information for our peticular server. If I click on the link to our server it opens a "thickbox" class. I want just this box as a iframe or something but that doesnt seem to work. The link itself in the browser just relaods the whole page again ![]() Any ideas? There is always a way... :-) You can just fetch the source files that the lobby uses - these are XML files. The XML files are visible and you can just parse out the entry that you want. Check out the following link: http://jointops.org/lobby/repository/jop_2_na.xml Just pull out your server and you can see the details from there. Let me know if this works for you. Cheers BB |
